Hi everyone, the topic  this week is very special ,  i will tell you about my experience writing blogs, when we started the english course and our teacher said that every mondays  we would have to write a blog, i don't like the activity because  i 've never been  very good at writing. But as the semester progressed i started to like writing blogs because it is a good way to learn new vocabulary, wed sites and meet a little more to our partners (their  hobbies, dreams, music preferences and interests for  the future ) but  above all  it's very useful to know ourselves. with the various topics  i was remembering many things  i did in the past  as  when i wrote about my hobbies I remembered how much I like painting. 

I fell i've learned a lot  of  new vocabulary and i remembered a lot of English Grammar.One of my favorites blogs when i wrote about musical styles because one of my favorites hobbies is listening music and i had a lot to talk about, another activite that i like was " london webquest " , it was very interesting look fot tourist sites, prices , know how to get by subway.I would like to have more activities like this and also  i would like to write about  more things related to our carrear .


                                             

                                                     My favorite style  of music 

 hi ,  it's very difficult for me choose only one style of music  , because  i listen very differents types of music rock, heavy metal, rock latino, funk , pop, reggae , reggaeton , alternative rock  even classical music  to concentrate when i study  , but i can talk about my favorite  bands .The first and definitely my favorite of all is the red hot chili peppers , i 've been  listening to since when   i was  10 years old,  the first songs i heard from them was  "californication " , since that moment i'm a big fan of them , i have all  CDS , DVDS  , t-shirts , hats and many other things.

My favorite album is "by the way" and my favorite concert is "red hot chili peppers live at slane castle" , the last i like because it has many  of my favorite songs.

           

Another  of my favorite bands  is coldplay , i really like them because  i consider them very good musicians , they play many different instruments and they're excellent composers, this year i had  the opportunity to go to the concert in April  with one of my best friends.



But  also i need to mention that since i have memories i like  the music of the 80s , this is all  thanks to my parents , who always  listen  soda stereo, los prisioneros, michael jackson, madonna, guns and roses , los enanitos verdes, new kids on the block , the police , bon jovi , queen , depeche mode and many others.

My favorite subject

Hi today i going to talk about  to my favorite subject , this semester i have 7 subjects, chemestry , physics , anatomy, biology , skills, english and photography  , it may be strange but unlike my classmates  who loves  skills my favorite subject is biology  , since as a child  i really like  things related to nature and many times i participated in scientific academies in my school , before i chose dendistry i wanted to study degree in biology,but after i started to like a lot the health professions, i am  very excited  that in the future i will be able to help many people to heal  their diseases and improve their quality of life.

        

But i have to make a difference in something i love the biology but i hate the histology and unluckily this subject is divided into these two areas.

I Also likes skills but it is not my favorite because the practical part complicates me a lot , i have to practice a lot for all activities and sometimes the things don't look great , however i really like the theorist classes and rountables with dentist motivates me to continue studying what i chosen.

Hi today i going to talk about to the best  places to visit in the south of Chile,i  had the opportunity  to visit the south 3  times,  the first time when  i visit the south was when i was 14 years old , this trip was together my family (father , mother, brother , grandmother and my little sister Maite ,she was a baby 4 moths)  the truth is that  i met  beutibul places as the city  of Pucon and surroundings (lago Caburga , others lakes and buautiful ojos del caburga)but  was a disaster because my little sister got a sick very serious and as she was  baby,  we cold  not  returned la serena  in a  month and a half, from that moment i did not like the south.




But  the things changed when i left the school, because along with 3 friends we went to " mochilear",  this was one of the best  experiences  and  memories  that  i have,together my friends visited many cities, lakes , parks .But the place we met more was Chiloe, We were  there more than two weeks and we stayed at the hostel's parents a friend , thanks to this  i had the opportunity to known the island completely, I visited many parks and  many waterfalls, i known the "palafitos" and i had the opportunity to eat "curanto",  It is a  very nice place to visit!!

                           


 And  the last time when i went the south was this summer with my boyfriend, we  visited  Puerto Montt , Frutillar ,  the biological reserve of Huilo- Huilo , and others places. but  the city i like most was frutillar it is a very quiet and nice place.

                                             Dr German Valenzuela Basterrica 


Hi today i going to talk about a person on my field that i admire, his name is Dr. German Valenzuela Basterrica he was a doctor and director of the school of dentistry, the reazon why i admire that thanks to him it could build the faculty of dentistry , this was made possible by his participation in the resolution of the case Becker.






The case Becker was one case police controvertid, where there was fire in the German delegation the 5th of february 1909 with the alleged murder chancellor Guillermo Becker, definitely one of the key men in the resolution of the case was the Dr. valenzuela, because he performed proficiencies to the body found in fire, which did not belong to chancellor ,but the goalkeeper of the delegation Germany Mr Exequiel Tapia , who he was killed by Becker, all this to scarfed with the money of delegation.

Thanks to this resolution of the case could clarify the problems with German, clean up the image of an innocent man and take prisoner the real guilty.

As a reward for their help the president Pedro Montt offerd help in he wanted, but the Dr. the only wanted it was the construction of the faculty of detistry.

 

                                                           My favorite picture

HI! today I going to talk  about my favorite picture, I like this photo because I was  in one of my favorites places , Disneyland. It was taken 6 years ago in September 2010, when I travelled with my family (cousins and uncle) to Miami and Orlando. I’m a big fan of Disney so I was very happy when I was able to make this trip.

I don`t remember who took  this photo , but i think it was my cousin, this photo shows  my next to my cousin Francisca  and  the Cinderella  castle in the park the magic kingdom, that day unfortunately  we  could not enter the castle :( 

 I really like this photo because   the castle is very cute and it was surrounded by many trees and flower arrangements (in this picture isn`t seen well) I see this picture and remember many nice things about this trip (many beautiful places, many entertaining games, many different and delicious foods) then that  photo makes me want to go back to that place.

                                        My experience in the "mechoneo"

Hi ! today i going to talk about my experience in the mechoneo, from the first day the class i was very nervous about the experience because i don't like this sort of things, but the day that our classmates the second year   surprised us, i could not miss the class in the university because we had physical , a class that i found it difficult.

I'll be honest unlike other classmates i hate the mechoneo because i am very allergic a many things they (classmates of second year) used, for example the paintings this causes me allergy in my face and mouth  and i was with irritated skin  all week .

Also they put us a  mixture of things (food) in our body as mustard , caramel "manjar", fish, chicken , vinegar, flour , and other stranger mixtures with very bad smell.

At the end i achieved escape giving the kiss to pink , and next to other classmate by name gabriela we went to collect the money  ( 20.000 chilean pesos) to retrieve our stuff.  we went  to subway " puente cal y canto" where we were many hours trying to collect the money .

Finally when we collected the money we went to the university, there our classmates of second year had shampoo  and with this i wash my hair, luckily i had more clothes  for to change in my backpack.
thanks to this   i could take the subway without problems.

 

My favourite Device

Hi everyone! This week i’ll tell you about my favourite gadget, is very difficul only choose one, because everyday i use many technological things, for example my laptop, iphone and ipod but  one of my favourite is certainly my Tablet.

                                                         

My tablet was a christmas gift two years ago, at first I did’t use much because  I had my laptop but one day  some criminals stolen my house and they stolen my laptop, since that day I learned to used.

I discovered what I can used my laptop for a  lot of things, for example: read books, play games , listen music, watch many movies and series, download applications by different things.

                   

I use my tablet everyday in my house because  I check u-cursos , read books of anatomy ,listen music and watch videos , but specially I use by study.

My life without my tablet  it would be uncomfortable because I’m used to doing many things , read, play ,listen music , study  … everything!

Hi!

This is my second post of this semester, it is about why I chose my career dentistry.

So to start, i will tell you about my dream job, when I was a child i always played with my cousins to hospital, where i was a doctor and they were my patients, for this reasons i always wanted to birthday gifts related with doctor things, i still remember my first doll "chiquitin enfermin"(it's a little baby with a set of nursing), years  later when i studied in high school i became to interested in the area of  biology( i love the botany , preservation of species and things related with global warming)and i was in several projects in my school.

                                  




One of my options of career was degree in  biology but this a saturated profession and my parents didn't not agree, so i decided to proveed with others careers this time related  with the area of health , the career that interested me  the most was dentistry, but  at  first i was not really sure about my application to the University, so i decided  to visits friends dentists of  my parents for got my information to the career, finally i decided to choose this career because i think it's a beautiful profession where i will able to help differents people and i will work in differents areas.
My experience of university until now has been  good, i like the university and the subject related to dentistry "destrezas".




 I would like to work with childrens with differents disabilities (paediatric dentistry).

Hi all!

This is my  first post , my  autobiography.

Hi my name is Constanza, I was born in Illapel in the north of chile on april 13 in 1994, but I lived all my childhood in La serena so practically i am of that city.

In La Serena i lived  with my parents , my little sister Maite (8  years old) and my brother Vicente(11 years old) both are younger than me.My hobbies are very different i like read so much my favorite author is Gabriel Garcia Marquez I've read all his books also i like paint in oils but  it is a hobby that  i left  long ago by lack of time. the sports i don't like very much but sometimes when i have time i like doing pilates.

My favorite band are the red hot chili peppers also i like watch many series   for example game of thrones and  how i met your mother and many  movies.

                                          

 I studied  in La serena in a school called Andres Bello -Pampa all of my friends study in La serena so  i'm the only one live here but i feel  very happy in the university studying odontology.
